1. Agreement

By using ImgBench (the "site") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

2. What the site does

The site provides browser-based image utilities. All processing happens on your device using your browser's own APIs. The site does not receive, store, transmit or otherwise handle your image files.

3. Your content and your responsibilities

You keep all rights to the images you process. You are solely responsible for:

• holding the rights or permissions needed to process the images you use;
• keeping your own backups — results exist only in your browser's memory and are lost when you close, reload or clear the page;
• verifying that output is correct before you rely on it. Always check a result before deleting an original.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the site to process content that is unlawful, or to infringe anyone's rights, including by removing a watermark or copyright notice you are not entitled to remove.

5. No warranty

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Image output is produced by your browser's codecs, which differ between browsers and versions; the site does not warrant that output will be identical across devices or free of defects.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and its contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, images, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the site. Because processing is local, the site cannot recover your files under any circumstances.

7. Third-party software

The site includes open-source components, each governed by its own licence as listed on thecredits page. Those licences prevail over these terms for the software they cover.

8. Availability and changes

The site may be changed, interrupted or discontinued at any time without notice. These terms may be updated; the date at the top of this page reflects the current version, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

9. Advertising and analytics

The site currently loads no advertising or analytics scripts. Reserved advertising areas are labelled layout space only. If advertising is introduced, these terms and theprivacy notice will be updated before it goes live.
